Ed Bell is a songwriter, author, educator and entrepreneur.

He was born in Yorkshire in the UK in 1987 and educated at Cambridge University and The Royal College of Music.

As a professional songwriter he works mostly in theatre and film, where he has written songs for Oriental DreamWorks (now Pearl Studio) and co-wrote the Kleban Award-winning musical 'My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend'.

As an educator Ed is the author of the bestselling book 'The Art of Songwriting' and the popular 30-Day Songwriting Challenges series. He created The Song Foundry, one of the Internet’s leading songwriting resource sites, in 2014.
